HACKFALL WOODS - WEDNESDAY 24 MAY

"This outing may have set a record!  The third in a row blessed by warm, sunny and almost windless conditions.  The bright light did, however, create a lot of contrast, making it difficult to avoid blown out highlights, particularly in a woodland setting.  Sylvia made use of infrared, whilst the rest of us looked for shade or resorted to areas in full sunlight.  Overall, an enjoyable challenge on a nice English spring day.

Unfortunately, this was not a good outing for me.  I had a tumble on the way back to the car and a visit to A&E to check for rib damage.  Thankfully, there was none.  Just a lot of discomfort.  That will teach me to look where I place my feet."
