Our first outing of the year was organised by John Gilbert.  Whilst a very cold and blustery day it presented the members who braved the cold and rain with some wonderful photographic opportunities - crashing waves, dark and moody skies, interesting lighting conditions and plenty of opportunities to capture the many brave people who were out and about enjoying a day at the coast.  A number of members made the event, both advanced and club class, and it was wonderful just to have the opportunity to chat to one another, talk about new photography kit, and seek and get advice.  We would like to extend the warmest of thanks to John Gilbert for organising the outing.  A great day out despite the weather.
